A Water-Activated Coating that Dries Hard to Form a Barrier

The rewettable coating is an inorganic clay-based coating used on fabrics intended for encapsulation and barriers. The fabric can be moistened at the application site and then dries hard to form a barrier. The coating can tolerate extreme temperatures up to 1000ºF (540ºC). It is commonly used in asbestos abatement.
