An EN1486 certified suit for specialized firefighting
The engineers at Newtex designed the X30 Attack™ Proximity Fire Fighting Suit from the ground up to meet the EN 1486 standard for close proximity fire fighting gear.
The Z-Flex® aluminized outer shell reflects 95% of radiant heat and withstands radiant temperatures up to 3000°F (1650°C). In addition to providing outstanding protection, Z-Flex is also the most durable aluminized material available and will not delaminate under even the most demanding conditions. This cutting edge suit also incorporates the latest technology from Stedfast and Tencate with a Stedair® moisture barrier and an Aralite® thermal barrier. All X Series suits are designed to be worn over standard industrial work wear. It is important for users to wear long-sleeve shirts and pants made with non-flammable fibers.
This suit can be used in a wide range of industries and applications including aircraft rescue fire fighting (ARFF), first response to oil and gas fires, and other proximity fire fighting scenarios.
