Insulated kiln suit for extended exposure to extreme heat
The NXP 750 Kiln Suit has been replaced by the X50 Kiln Suit. We recommend the X50 for better fit, simplified donning, superior protection, and a faster lead time. The NXP 750 suit will no longer be available after December 2016.
Newtex’s NXP Kiln 750 suits are insulated to protect personnel working in close proximity to extreme temperatures or fire. The 750 Kiln Suit is commonly used in maintenance operations. Each suit has an aluminized outer shell and an aluminized vapor barrier to protect against high pressure steam, vapor, chemicals, and radiant temperatures up to 3000°F (1650°C). The NXP 750 Insulated Kiln Suit provides superior protection from possible flashover scenarios and can be used safely for short-duration fire entry emergencies.
Temperature Ratings:
- Ambient heat rating to 800°F (430°C)
- Total flame rating to 2000°F (1095°C)
- Short duration radiant heat up to 3000°F (1650°C)
Ambient heat is the equilibrium temperature in an area. Radiant heat is given off by a heat source in proximity. Duration varies depending on the amount of conductive heat transferred during the operation.
