Lightweight jackets to protect from radiant heat, sparks & molten metal splash
The X10 Ultra-Lite Proximity Jacket and the X20 Lightweight Proximity Jacket are available individually or as part of the X10 and X20 suit ensembles. These jackets are designed to protect against extreme radiant heat, sparks, and molten metal splash in environments with ambient temperatures up to 200ºF (93ºC).
The Ultra-Lite X10 Jacket is a single layer of protection, with your choice of 3 different aluminized shell materials. The X10 Jacket features a narrow collar, snap closures, and set-in sleeves with snaps on the cuffs for adjustable length. The X10 Jacket is available in the following materials:
- Z-Flex R-480 Aluminized Rayon for cost-effective flexibility and comfort
- Z-Flex K-252 Aluminized Aramid for added strength and puncture resistance
- Z-Flex O-500 Aluminized Oxidized PAN for superior insulation
The Lightweight X20 Jacket is a 2 layer construction. It features a Z-Flex A-601 outer shell with your choice of an FR Cotton liner or a neoprene vapor barrier liner. The neoprene liner protects from hot steam, gas, and liquids. The X20 jacket features a narrow color, snap closures, and set-in sleeves with snaps on the cuffs for adjustable length.
