Aluminized lined and unlined bib aprons for protection from heat and splatter
Our waist and bib aprons are designed to provide protection in environments with ambient temperatures up to 200ºF (93ºC). The Z-Flex® outer shell reflects up to 95% of radiant heat while protecting from sparks, slag, and molten metal splash. Our aprons are specifically engineered to maximize mobility and ease of use while offering the maximum protection and safeguards.
The X10 Aprons feature a single layer of lightweight aluminized protection. Fabric options for the X10 Apron include aluminized Rayon for low-cost protection, aluminized O-PAN/Aramid for more insulation, or aluminized Aramid for strength and puncture resistance.
The X20 Apron features a Z-Flex A-601 aluminized outershell and an FR Cotton liner. The X20 Apron is an updated and redesigned version of Newtex's original NXP 150 Apron.
X10 and X20 bib aprons are available in 2 sizes:
- Medium: 24" wide x 36" long (61 cm x 91 cm)
- Large: 29" wide x 42" long (74 cm x 107 cm)
