Aluminized hoods for complete protection of the head, face & neck
The X20 Lightweight Proximity Hood and the X30 Industrial Proximity Hood are available individually or as part of the X20 and X30 suit ensembles.
The X20 and X30 hoods both offer the following features:
- Z-Flex A-601 Aluminized outer shell for protection from radiant heat, sparks, and molten metal splash.
- Polycarbonate lens with a gold film
- Hard cap with ratchet adjustment (meets ANSI-Z89.1-2009 impact resistance tests)
- Dome Style Hood
- Elasticized underarm straps
- Full shoulder length drape with rounded bib for improved range of motion
The X20 Lightweight Proximity Hood is available with your choice of a cotton liner for breathability or a neoprene vapor barrier liner for added protection from vapor, steam, and liquids. The X30 Industrial Proximity Hood comes standard with a Quilted Nomex® thermal liner.
