Coated with Reflective Pigment for Radiant Heat Resistance
In addition to the abrasion and heat resistance that characterize the standard Z-Shield acrylic coating, Z-Shield Silver also features a silver pigment with reflective properties. The silver pigment reflects radiant heat and allows the fabric to protect from extreme radiant temperatures. The silver pigment coats only 1 side of the fabric. The silver side of the fabric should be positioned to face the heat source.
