Newtex Welcomes Rich Lanpheare, VP of Sales & Business Development

Newtex is excited to announce that Rich Lanpheare has joined our team as Vice President of Sales and Business Development. Rich will be filling the role currently held by Doug Bailey, who will be retiring in December after a very successful 10 year run with Newtex. Doug will continue to work closely with Newtex as a consultant. 
 
Rich joins us from Retrotech, a leader in automated storage and retrieval systems based in Henrietta, New York. Rich spent the past 6 years with Retrotech, where he held a number of senior roles in Account Management, Sales Management, and Business Development. Before Retrotech, Rich led sales and product management functions at another warehouse control and automation firm.
 
Rich started his career in the US Navy as a specialist in Underwater Warfare Weapons and was a Department Supervisor of weapons technicians. From there he moved onto Mine Assembly where he was Director of Quality and Safety.
 
We’re excited to have Rich on-board at Newtex where he will be instrumental in growing our global presence as a leader in high temperature and fire protective materials, engineered solutions, and extreme protective apparel.
